Tesha Ward has been practicing various styles of Yoga throughout the U.S. since 1998. She completed her 200-hour embodyoga™ Teacher Training Program at the Yoga Center in Amherst, studying under Patty Townsend in 2008. Since that time, she has been teaching yoga to toddlers, teens, and adults throughout Central Massachusetts. A passionate student of yoga, Tesha is excited to help others become familiar with the various aspects of the connection of body, breath, and movement by bringing consciousness to each moment of moving through asana (yoga postures). She takes a safe and meditative approach to vinyasa and deep holding of postures, allowing students to find strength and flexibility through integration. She invites students to explore the playfulness of embodiment and the pleasure of movement. Her classes are fluid and calming but also serve to deeply strengthen and invigorate the mind and body. Students of all levels of experience and ability are welcome. Tesha has been a professional educator since 2001, working in various public school settings. She is currently a school counselor at Ludlow High School. Her compassion for teaching and the belief that everyone possesses unique strengths, struggles, and different outlooks on life have helped her inspire others to foster both personal growth and inner peace. As of recently, Tesha is currently studying Resiliency and Mindfulness through an advanced graduate program at Assumption University.   Email Tesha at teshajoyward@gmail.com
