Michael graduated with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Union Institute and University, and interned in a residential substance abuse program in the mid-west. Michael’s therapeutic approach involves treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and honesty which, can be blunt. He believes therapy should focus on helping you identify and develop the tools you feel you need to help you grow. Therapy is your journey, and Michael will work with you to develop and define your goals, focusing on your strengths and developing additional coping skills and insight using an eclectic approach, including. cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, humanistic, transpersonal, person-centered and during your time together, Michael will help you to explore what brought you to therapy and will work with you to develop a treatment plan that will help you meet your goals.

Michael currently accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, Allways, United Healthcare, Cigna, Tufts, including MassHealth Tufts along with self pay and is waiting on receipt to accept various other insurances.
