Lisa is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She received her health coach training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition*, where she studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. She is a Certified International Health Coach, a Ramsey Solutions Master Financial Coach, a member of the International Association for Health Coaches, and has a master’s degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling.  Lisa works with both individuals and groups through a client-centered process that empowers those she supports to develop and achieve self-determined, health and wellness goals. She assists the people she works with to use their own insight, personal strengths, and resources to set goals, commit to action steps, and establish accountability in building an envisioned healthy lifestyle. Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health are explored to develop a balanced life. Some of the many things Lisa works with people on are healthy eating, establishing a movement routine, stress and anxiety reduction, self-care, career / education, relationships, finances, home environment, joy, and creativity. She offers a free 30 to 50 minute consultation to see if health coaching is right for you.

Lisa is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. She received her yoga teacher training, which focused on Hatha and Vinyasa styles, from Yoga Renew under the direction of Kate Lombardo. She also holds certifications in teaching Yin, Restorative, and Children’s yoga. She has been practicing various forms of yoga for over 20 years. Personally, she has found yoga to help control her stress and anxiety, increase her flexibility, and keep her feeling strong and present. Lisa believes that yoga benefits physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health and works to bring these four areas together in her classes. She is aware that all bodies are different and encourages students to focus on finding variations of poses that work for their body and benefit them. Her goal is for you to leave class feeling refreshed and renewed.
