Life can feel overwhelming. We live in a world full of uncertainty and upheaval. But our world also contains hope and possibility. If you have been struggling with stress, fear and worries, sadness and grief, or needing to heal in any way, therapy can help.

Emily has experience working with adolescents and adults on a multitude of issues including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and trauma. She will work with you to foster a brave, safe space to explore your needs and goals, whether they are related to processing experiences from your past, navigating current areas where you might feel stuck, or identifying potential areas of growth. She uses an eclectic blend of skills and interventions, including interpersonal psychotherapy, psychoeducation, mindfulness practices, CBT/DBT techniques, and expressive therapy techniques. Emily’s approach is non-judgmental and strengths-based. She brings warmth, compassion, understanding, wisdom, and a sense of humor to build a connection with you that will support you in making the changes you would like to see and improving your overall quality of life.

Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Anthropology from Harvard University and a Master of Social Work from Boston University. Emily is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts; license #123437.

12/28/2022 Emily has openings in her practice for sessions scheduled Tuesday-Friday 9am-2pm.
