Capital Campaign

Listening Wellness Center has launched a Three-Year Capital Campaign

to catch up on some long overdue repairs. If you value this resource in our community, now is the time to act in order to save our historic building and maintain a wealth of programs at a time when our services are needed more than ever.

Your Contribution is Essential Now.

Our community needs us now more than ever. We have received a huge increase in demand for services in recent years. Since 2019:

  • Mental Health Counseling increased 40%.
  • Physical & Occupational Therapy increased 70%.
  • Massage Therapy increased 80%.
  • Acupuncture increased 80%.

Our beautiful, historic building is desperately in need of care. After nearly 200 years on the Barre Common, 22 years as a home for holistic health in our community, and two years of pandemic, demand for our space is at an all-time high, and our building is struggling to keep up.

If you choose to support the capital campaign, you will support the following.

Keep these resources alive in our community.

Whether you’re a first-time donor or you’ve been a generous supporter for decades, your contribution is essential to help Listening Wellness Center continue to serve our community.

  • Online program options are extending our reach, making programs more accessible to seniors and youth in a rural area.
  • In-person programming brings our community together for much-needed contact after isolation.
  • Children’s programming includes weekly classes in the arts, cooking and nutrition, karate, mindfulness, movement, and more.
  • Offerings for adults include yoga, meditation, the beloved senior yoga classes, and educational workshops.

Most small town communities do not have access to the full range of holistic health services that we offer here at Listening. What inspires you to keep these resources alive in our community?

Let us know how much you value our practitioners and programs by making a donation, large or small!

We have a three-year Renovation Plan

Breaking the work into three Phases gives us time to raise the necessary funds, and to plan the work to minimize disruptions to our programming and services.

Please join us in supporting our community and our beloved Listening Wellness Center. Thank you!
